Happy Birthday to me...

 This year marked a first for me... my birthday passed as normally as any other day,  I even went in to work, and I was fine with that.  A few days later, however, while browsing the net, I happened upon this fantastic silk screen poster, and I couldn't resist  (of course justifying the purchase by claiming it was a present to myself.)  It's from Studio 8 Design.  I've provided the link below if you'd like one for yourself.

I feel kinda guilty posting this.  It's not really baking, and it's so easy, and it's not even my recipe, but it's sooo delicious, I have to share.  I have been making this on weekend mornings and it's perfect with the New York Times Sunday edition and It's Me or the Dog on the television.   So thank you Jamie Oliver for your ultra-yummy French Toast.  I usually make the blueberry/ banana combination with the honey (which I recently heard is highly effective as a hangover remedy...added bonus!)
